The 2022 Acura NSX Type S is the Most Powerful NSX Ever

Faster and quicker than ever before.

The new 2022 Acura NSX Type S has been revealed and it’s a true treat for the automotive world. While it may be the last year for the second-generation NSX, it will at least be sunsetting with an incredible edition. Acura revealed the new NSX Type S at Monterey Car Week where thousands of automotive enthusiasts are enjoying the Californian sun and an incredible display of automotive excellence.

The new NSX Type S has more power and quickness than before thanks to a list of powertrain upgrades. These upgrades include turbochargers shared with the NSX GT3 Evo race car and a retuned 9-speed automatic transmission. Power has been increased to 600 horsepower (+27 hp) and 492 lb-ft of torque (+16 lb-ft). Acura has also increased its battery capacity by 20 percent, as well as its battery output by 10 percent.

Other upgrades for the NSX Type S include the new split 5-spoke wheels that are have increased track in the front and back, new Pirelli P-Zero tires designed specifically for the new model, a new exterior design that provides better cooling than before, new aerodynamics package that includes an NSX GT3-inspired rear diffuser, carbon fiber roof and more. Acura will also be offering the 2022 NSX Type S in the new Gotham Grey matte metallic paint, but it’s limited to just 70 of the total 350 examples in the worldwide production run (300 are destined for the U.S.). While this is a lot, Acura is also offering an available Lightweight Package that includes carbon ceramic brakes, a carbon engine cover, and carbon interior trim. This package will drop the weight of the NSX Type S by around 57.8 lbs.

Just 300 examples of the new 2022 Acura NSX Type S will be coming to the U.S. The base NSX Type S will have a starting price of $169,500 while the supercar with the Lightweight Package comes to a starting price of $182,500.

Tesla Cybertruck Makes an Appearance at Texas Gigafactory

Elon Musk made a surprise appearance.

While we haven’t heard a lot about the new Tesla Cybertruck since it was announced, it recently made an appearance at the Texas Gigafactory. This was a perfect place for the electric truck to show up considering this factory is where it will be built. Joining the Cybertruck at the Texas Gigafactory was none other than Elon Musk. He addressed the crowd which consisted of workers and gave them a chance to get up close with the Cybertruck. Musk also took the Cybertruck for a little driving demo on the dirt surrounding the site. Check it out for yourself in the Instagram post from Tesla down below. As you can see, the Cybertruck managed to get a little dirty during the demo.

100 Years of Maybach Automobiles in 1 Video

It all started back in 1921.

For many, the name “Maybach” came around when the 57 and 62 models were unveiled in the late 1990s. These luxurious sedans were incredibly popular and were mentioned quite often in pop culture. However, Maybach has actually been around for 100 years as of 2021. It all started back in 1921 when Wilhelm Maybach, the technical director of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft, and his son Karl Maybach, unveiled the 22/70 HP W 3. The W 3 was the first German car to have four wheels,, featured a planetary gearbox mated to a six=-cylinder engine, and had an interior replete with wood and leather. It was and still is a true luxury car. Now, in 2021, Maybach has become Mercedes-Maybach but the luxury is still there.

Sir Lewis Hamilton’s 2021 Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance Unveiled

Brackley Technical Centre is the new home of the AMG Petronas F1 team, and they are ready for the championship. Public testing is only days away in Bahrain, so sir Lewis Hamilton’s 2021 Mercedes-AMG F1 W12 E Performance has been unveiled. Next year will see an all-new aero package from the FIA, but that is no reason for them to rest on their laurels.

Burning the midnight oil, engineers met this year’s downforce changes without approaching the team’s cost cap. The Mercedes-Benz star has been replaced by the AMG logo, accented by burgundy from their Principal Partner INEOS. Most major parts are carried over from the W11 car, with new adaptations to meet this year’s rulebook. Changes were mandated to the floorpans, brake inlets, and diffuser to slow down all teams.

Therefore, the W12 incorporates advancements to the engine, cooling system, and other critical areas. Of course, they are playing these cards close to the chest, so it will make for an entertaining season to say the least. Trifecta Of World Class Supercars Heading To Auction

2020 Bentley Continental GTC

When they chose to update their Grand Touring Convertible, Bentley realized how it was tied to the Continental Flying Spur Sedan. The 4-door team and the 2-door warriors could not reconcile their differences on the drawing board. Therefore, the 2020 Bentley Continental is all-new. All it shares is a name with the previous examples.

Stronger and lighter than ever before, this smooth soft top is motivated by a dozen cylinders and twin turbochargers. At your command will be 626 horsepower and a whopping 664 lb-ft of torque. This allows it to reach 60 mph in 3.7 seconds in a blur. The top can be operated up to 30 mph, and it needs to be up to safely reach 207 mph. Rule Britania!

2019 Rolls-Royce Cullinan

Sitting atop the Scepter of Queen Elizabeth is the largest clear diamond ever cut. Cullinan is more than a massive show of power, it represents the sovereignty of the United Kingdom. Bentley Flying Spur Arrives With 3D Wood Paneling

Two decades ago, the only wood found in cars was a thin veneer. Bean Counters at the assembly plants made sure to save money by cutting the wood as thin as possible. Now with a push for more sustainable materials, Bentley has unveiled 3D wood paneling for the 2021 Flying Spur. Your door panels can be had with leather as usual, but two new options are open-pore American Walnut or American Cherry wood.

2021 Bentley Flying Spur Receives Plush Updates

The diamond pattern was first seen in their EXP 10 Speed 6 concept from 2015, and fans gave it rave reviews. It was inspired by the quilted leather offered by their Mulliner custom department, and it took them 18 months to develop the machining process without marring the finish. Skilled carpenters use a 3-axis router to carve each panel, and the finished product is only accepted if it meets tolerances of 0.1 mm. Hennessey Performance Venom F5 Prototype Nears Completion

Perfection can’t be rushed, and it is no small task for an aftermarket business to evolve into an automaker. While the first generation Venom relied on Lotus for the chassis, the upcoming Venom F5 is all American. With a carbon fiber chassis and 1,817 horsepower, this car will be going for 300 mph. John Hennessey realized the limits of every production V8 engine through testing Ford, Dodge, and Chevrolet examples to destruction. That is why the Venom F5 uses a block and heads of their own design. Using the Corvette’s LT1 as inspiration, every aspect was scaled up by an order of magnitude. Working late into the weekend, they uploaded the first combination of engine and chassis. A teaser of the rear diffuser was uploaded on Saturday, so we should see the first car in action very soon.

Like its predecessors, Liteboxer is an interactive at-home workout led by professional trainers with the option to connect with other at-home athletes. The equipment comes with an exercise plan, accompanying app for your smart phone or tablet and trainers to help you reach your fitness goals.

Lights and music stream through the Liteboxer with varying tempos and genres of music to choose from. With a light-up zone on each of the two pads, which represent the face and body, boxers will follow along with the music and punch out the lights – similar to the format of “Dance Dance Revolution.” Classes and challenges can be streamed through the app, led by certified trainers.

Though less expensive than the Peloton and MIRROR, this high-tech piece of equipment is designed for the high-end athlete with a price tag of $1,495 for the device and a $29 per month subscription after the initial three-month trial period expires. However, if your home workout has been lacking, this may just be the incentive you need to stay motivated.
